Block Island Ferry

Ferry from Point Judith, RI (also known as Galilee, Narragansett, RI) to Block Island. There are concession stands on board all vessels. Ferry ride is approximately 1 hour.

 

Block Island Sightseeing Tour

A sightseeing tour of Block Island will cover the island's history, lighthouses, and folklore.

 

Old Mistick Village

Olde Mistick Village is much more than a village. Custom gifts, restaurants and Mystic-made souvenirs assembled together to offer you a shopping experience unlike anything else.

 

 

Need to Know:

 

The Starr motorcoach does not come over to Block Island on the Ferry therefore there is no access to the bus while on Block Island.

 

At the National Hotel, not all 2-bedded room requests can be honored. A queen bed with a cot may be substituted.

 

 

Accessibility:

 

There is no elevator at the National Hotel. There are 15 steps leading up and into hotel lobby. It is imperative that requests for 1st floor are made at time of booking. There are at least 15 steps to the first floor. Tour guests with walking disabilities may have difficulty. Tour guests can walk around to back of hotel where there are no steps and can walk right in to the lobby area.

National Hotel, Block Island, Rhode Island

 

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 3 story hotel has been renovated to offer the latest conveniences while retaining its nostalgic grace. The Hotel is located in Block Island's historic village across from a sandy beach. Since it is a historic Victorian Inn, the room configurations are different from a standard hotel and room types will vary. The rooms are decorated in such a way as to create a relaxing and elegant Victorian ambience, while providing such amenities as flat screen televisions, hair dryer, and a private bath. The hotel has a full-service restaurant, the Tap and Grille. There is no elevator. There are 15 steps to the first floor. The hotel is completely non-smoking.
