Calgary

A vibrant Canadian city that seamlessly blends the charm of the Wild West with modern amenities. Nestled in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, it offers a unique experience with its blend of city living and outdoor adventure. Known for its annual Calgary Stampede, a world-renowned rodeo and festival, and its proximity to stunning national parks like Banff, Calgary provides a diverse range of attractions for every traveler.

 

Banff

Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thsuloroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and shops.

 

Glacier National Park

The isolated location of the park leads to fewer visitors during the summer season, making it a haven for some of the world’s endangered species such as the gray wolf and grizzly bear. Stay overnight in the park and enjoy dinner this evening.

 

Kootenay National Park

Head north through British Columbia along the western slope of the Canadian Rockies, into the heart of Canada’s great timberlands. See the bright red walls of Sinclair Canyon and travel through Radium Hot Springs.

 

Peyto Lake

A stunning turquoise lake in Banff National Park, is a must-see destination. It's fed by the Peyto Glacier and offers breathtaking views from a popular viewpoint accessible by a short, scenic hike. The lake's vibrant blue hue is a result of glacial flour suspended in the water, creating a unique and mesmerizing spectacle.

 

Athabasca Glacier Ice Explorer

Ride in the specially designed Ice Explorer on the 1000 foot-thick Athabasca Glacier, part of the Columbia Icefield. The experience features a guided tour of the glacier and engaging commentary about glaciers, the local ecosystem, and environmental changes.

 

Lake Louise

A postcard-perfect paradise in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Known for its turquoise glacial waters and stunning mountain scenery, it's a must-see destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. From hiking to skiing, canoeing to photography, Lake Louise offers a variety of experiences year-round.

 

Icefields Parkway

Situated between Lake Louise and Jasper, and considered one of the most scenic highways in the world. See a panorama of snowcapped mountain peaks, hanging glaciers, waterfalls, canyons and often wildlife such as moose, big-horn sheep and bear.

 

Lake MacDonald

Ten miles long and nearly 500 feet deep, it is the largest lake in the park, is a direct result of glacial carving. High peaks surrounding the lake all show evidence of the power of glaciers to carve even the hardest of rock. The powerful glaciers that carved the broad "u-shaped" valley that Lake McDonald sits in also carved smaller hanging valleys with wonderful waterfalls that are accessible by numerous hiking trails.

 

Going-to-the-Sun Highway-1930’s Red Jammer Touring Cars

Go for a ride over the Going-to-the-Sun Highway, acclaimed as one of the most beautiful roadways in the world. The 52-mile journey crosses the Continental Divide through Logan Pass at an elevation of 6,680 feet and includes the Weeping Wall and Birdwoman Falls along with many spectacular mountain vistas.

 

Banff Gondola-Sulphur Mountain

Ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain via the Banff Gondola. From the summit see six stunning mountain ranges and the sweeping Bow Valley before you, the views are nothing short of breathtaking.

 

Victoria Glacier

Nestled at the back of Lake Louise in Banff National Park, is a breathtaking sight. It's a popular spot for hikers and photographers, offering views of a majestic glacier and the iconic Lake Louise. The glacier is the source of the lake's distinctive turquoise color, a result of glacial flour, and it's a reminder of the powerful forces that shaped the Canadian Rockies.

 

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump

The interpretive center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and bears witness to a custom practiced by native people of the North American plains for nearly 6000 years.

 

Waterton Lakes National Park

The prairies of Alberta meet the peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Waterton Lakes National Park. Clear lakes, thundering waterfalls, rainbow-colored streams, colorful rocks and mountain vistas await hikers and sightseers.

 

Moraine Lake

Located in Banff National Park, it offers a stunning natural spectacle with its turquoise waters and surrounding mountain peaks. The lake provides excellent hiking opportunities, including the easy Rockpile Trail with panoramic views.

Payment & Cancellation Policies for August 19, 2026

Deposit/Payment Policy: Deposit is $425.00 per person. Final payment is due by 05/01/2026

Cancellation Penalties: If cancellation occurs from booking date to 03/31/26, a $25.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 02/21/26 and 05/01/26, a $425.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 05/02/26 and 05/19/26, a $1,425.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 05/20/26 and 08/19/26, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

*In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.
