Tour quaint towns with streets lined with the sea captains' houses built when the only great industry was whaling by harpoon. Visit Oak Bluffs, with its century old gingerbread cottages and enjoy a view of Chappaquiddick. In Edgartown, explore the narrow winding streets with many charming boutiques and restaurants.

Round trip Ferry Service from Hyannis to Nantucket

A trip aboard Hy-Line's Nantucket High-Speed Ferry cuts the travel time to the island in half!

Inside the cabin, you will enjoy the comfort of airline seating, couches or seating at tables of six, and wall-to-wall carpeting. There is also outside seating available for those who want to soak up the sun or the ocean breeze.

There is a full-service snack bar on board serving an array of beverages including a full bar, as well as light snacks and sandwiches.

Nantucket Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a fully narrated historic riding tour of America's most scenic little island. In just over an hour, become acquainted with the "Little Grey Lady," famous as the world's foremost whaling port in the 18th century. The tour covers close to 65% of the island including: The Old Mill, "Sconset" Village with its rose-covered cottages, Low Beach, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, cranberry bogs, and Nantucket moors.

Dune Riding Tour

Enjoy a one hour narrated tour through the historic sand dunes and Provincetown's Cape Cod National Seashore Park. Fun and Safe For All! Ride in an enclosed and air conditioned Suburban for a comfortable ride over the mountains of sand. Each vehicle holds 6-8 passengers.

Roll through the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District Sand Dunes, catching sight of Pilgrim Lake nestled among the dunes and the famed artists' dune shacks. All the while, a knowledgeable tour guide will share the history and ecology of these beautiful and unique dunes that have inspired so many fine artists and writers.

Cape Cod National Seashore Highland Lighthouse

In a 1961 bill signed by President John F. Kennedy, the 27,700-acre Cape Cod National Historic Seashore was established to preserve virtually the entire eastern shoreline in its natural state for all time. All of the beaches here, while cold, are otherwise superior - wide, long, sandy and dune-backed, with great views.

The Salt Pond Visitor Center has displays of early Cape Cod artifacts (including antique scrimshaw) and a bookstore. Eastham Windmill is a smock mill built in the early 1680s. It moved to this site in 1808 and is now the centerpiece of a park. It is the only Cape windmill still on a site on which it was in commercial use.

JFK Memorial

The JFK Memorial (stone monument) overlooks Lewis Bay where the Kennedys loved to sail and fish. The proceeds from the reflecting pool are donated to the Town of Barnstable's scholarship fund. This is an outside activity, only taking a few moments.
