Fort William Henry Museum

Step back into the 18th century at Fort William Henry Museum, a restored Colonial fortress of the 1755-1757 French and Indian War era. Located at the strategic south end of Lake George, an important part of the water transportation system used by both Native Americans and the Europeans. There are a variety of exhibits to discover throughout the museum, which highlight the Fort and the French & Indian War. Speak with a soldier to learn some of the vast history of the area and witness a musket and cannon firing.

 

Lake Placid Olympic Village Sightseeing Tour

Step into the excitement of Lake Placid’s legendary Olympic history. Our journey begins at the Olympic Center, home to the iconic 1932 and 1980 Olympic Arenas, where unforgettable moments and groundbreaking Olympic firsts came to life. As we explore the arenas, you’ll hear thrilling stories of world-class athletes like Sonja Henie, Eric Heiden, and others who once dazzled crowds on this very stage. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the crown jewel of American hockey—the 1980 Herb Brooks Olympic Arena—where the legendary “Miracle on Ice” shocked the world.

 

Next, we hop back on the bus for a short drive to the Olympic Ski Jumps. Rising dramatically against the Adirondack skyline, these impressive towers are a true Lake Placid landmark. Along the way, we’ll pass historic John Brown’s Farm, the former home and final resting place of the famed abolitionist, adding more American history to our day.

 

Lake George Lunch Cruise

Experience a narrated Lunch Cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement. Sail through the crystal-clear waters of Lake George, surrounded by stunning mountain wilderness. Enjoy a freshly prepared buffet, featuring a salad bar, delicious soups, three hot entrées (chicken, fish, and vegetarian options), a carving station, assorted breads and rolls, delectable desserts, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

 

 

Prospect Mountain

Sit back and relax on our scenic 5 1/2 mile drive to the top of Prospect Mountain, which stands at 2,030 feet. Overlooking the stunning Lake George, you'll be treated to breathtaking, panoramic views extending up to 100 miles. This picturesque journey offers numerous photo opportunities and a chance to learn about the rich history and natural beauty of the area. Enjoy the spectacular vista at one of the most iconic spots in the Adirondacks!

Dinner on day one is included at the hotel

Dinner will be served buffet-style and features rolls & butter, garden salad, minestrone soup, chicken picatta, pan roasted salmon with punttanesca sauce, bow tie pasta with spinach, broccoli rabe, mushroom, roasted tomato, garlic & olive oil, oven roasted baby red potatoes, roasted vegetable medley. Also included is NY style cheesecake & chocolate layer cake for dessert along with coffee & tea.

 

Dinner on day two is included at the hotel

Dinner will be served buffet-style and features garden salad, grilled chicken breast teriyaki, BBQ beef brisket, baby back pork ribs, pasta salad, and green beans. Also included is berry cobbler, cookies, & brownies for dessert, along with soft drinks and water.

 

Lunch on day three is included aboard the Lake George Lunch Cruise

Lunch will be served buffet-style and features soup du Jour, salad bar, fresh baked rolls with butter, 2 hot entrees (chicken and fish), 1 vegetarian entrée (chef’s choice), freshly carved deli sandwiches with choice of ham, beef, or turkey, assorted breads and cheeses, coffee, tea, soda, and chef’s choice dessert.
