Lloyd Smith, known as the esteemed "Town Crier," will personally preside over the induction of each passenger into "The Order of Good Cheer." This cherished ceremony, dating back to 1605, holds official sanction by the Province of Nova Scotia. Every visitor will have the honor of receiving a certificate commemorating their induction. Dressed in authentic period attire, Lloyd Smith will graciously welcome our group at the Old Orchard Inn during dinner.
Grand-Pré National Historic Site is a dedicated park celebrating the rich history of the Grand-Pré area in Nova Scotia, which served as a center of Acadian settlement from 1682 to 1755. It also commemorates the deportation of the Acadians that began in 1755 and lasted until 1762. The site features a church that houses a variety of exhibits, paintings, and stained-glass windows, all telling the story of the Acadian people. Outside the church, visitors can admire the statue of Evangeline, the fictional heroine from Longfellow's famous poem, symbolizing the enduring legacy and spirit of the Acadian culture.

Journey across the Confederation Bridge, an engineering marvel that unites the provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, Canada. Stretching an impressive 8 miles, it's the longest bridge over freezing waters in the world.

Dinner will be served buffet-style and features a tossed garden salad, rolls and butter, oven-roasted red potatoes, green beans, baked stuff chicken, and baked stuffed Haddock with Lobster sauce. Also included is strawberry shortcake for dessert along with coffee, tea, decaf and iced tea.
North Atlantic Haddock: lightly breaded prime haddock garnished with lemon, accented with tidal bay (a marinade made with Nova Scotia wine) and fresh cream sauce.
Mushroom Chicken: grilled chicken breast with thyme panko breading, served with a portobello mushroom sauce.
Pasta Primavera: valley vegetables tossed with tomato vodka garlic cream sauce.
Dinner is served with a starch, vegetable, and an Annapolis Valley market salad (fresh greens & produce with a berry vinaigrette.) Dessert, coffee, & tea are also included.
