Do you believe in witches? Don't answer until you visit.

Salem Sightseeing Tour

See the town of Salem, linked to the infamous witchcraft hysteria of the 1690s and hear about Salem's rich maritime and literary history and splendid architecture on this guided sightseeing tour. Some of the finest 18th century houses in America can be found here, evidence of the enormous wealth amassed by Salem's ship captains. We'll also walk through the Witch Trial Memorial.

House of Seven Gables

In 1668, merchant and ship-owner John Turner built a house on Salem Harbor that was destined to become one of America's most beloved historic homes. Designated a National Historic Landmark District in 2007, The House of the Seven Gables is best known today as the setting of world-renowned American author Nathaniel Hawthorne's 1851 novel. Tour the mansion made famous by the Nathaniel Hawthorne novel, including the author's birthplace, seaside gardens, museum store, and Garden Cafe.

Rebecca Nurse Homestead

Built in 1680 and an excellent example of the New England saltbox, this was the home of Rebecca Nurse, a saintly woman accused of and executed for witchcraft during the hysteria of 1692. The house includes restored rooms with furnishings from the 17th and 18th centuries, outbuildings, a reproduction of the 1672 Salem Village Meetinghouse, and exhibit areas.
