Toby's Dinner Theatre – Irving Berlin’s White Christmas

Toby's Dinner Theatre is known for its award-winning Broadway and original musicals, performed in a unique “theatre-in-the-round” setting where no seat is more than 30 feet from the stage. This holiday season, get into the spirit with the timeless classic Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Based on the iconic film, White Christmas follows two WWII veterans with a successful song-and-dance act who track a duo of talented singing sisters to their Christmas show at a rural Vermont lodge which happens to be owned by their old commander. They plan a yuletide fun-filled extravaganza to help fill the inn! Featuring seventeen Irving Berlin favorites including "Blue Skies", "How Deep is the Ocean", and the legendary "White Christmas," this heartwarming musical is perfect for the whole family and sure to become a treasured holiday tradition.

 

Lancaster Sightseeing Tour

Embark on a guided tour through the Lancaster countryside, where our local guide will share fascinating insights into the Amish way of life, their traditions, and their community. Along the way, you may visit a charming quilt shop and a delightful bake shop, offering an authentic taste of Amish culture.

 

 

Kitchen Kettle Village

Hungry for Pennsylvania Dutch goodness? Kitchen Kettle Village is an outdoor village of more than 40 shops, including the famous Jam & Relish Kitchen, where you can sample a variety of some 100 homemade Pennsylvania Dutch comestibles before you buy. There are also shops selling leather goods, pottery, specialty yarns, candles, furniture, oils and, of course, Amish quilts - a souvenir staple. You'll also find stores serving up sweets (you must try the shoofly pie and whoopie pies), hand-twisted soft pretzels, kettle corn, smoked meats, and more. Watch basket weaving, fudge making, homemade ice cream making, painting, woodcarving, and leather works.

The Amish family-style menu includes:

 

Appetizer Station featuring chilled steamed shrimp (plain & seasoned), shrimp pasta salad, sautéed mushrooms, Swedish meatballs, Swiss & cheddar cheeses, cream cheese & pepper jam (Amish caviar). Signature soups, salads, and breads including seafood bisque, chicken corn soup, vegetarian soup, two soups du jour, build-your-own salad with Miller's hot bacon dressing and homemade bleu cheese, bread & butter pickles, broccoli salad, fresh breads, and more.

 

Hot Entrées include a carving station & charbroiled chef’s specialties including chicken & waffles, roast beef, sliced turkey breast, baked ham with cider sauce, fried chicken, baked fish, chicken pot pie with homemade noodles, baked cabbage in cream sauce, assorted vegetables, French fries, and more.

 

Lunch also includes homemade desserts & fresh fruit including Pennsylvania Dutch shoofly pie, chocolate pecan pie, apple pie, chocolate mousse cheesecake, and more. Lunch includes iced tea, coffee, hot tea, lemonade, and water. Beer and wine are also available for individual purchase.

The hotel features a restaurant/lounge and a fitness room. Guest rooms include a coffee marker, mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and iron/board. The hotel's restaurant, Loxley's Restaurant, will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 8pm.
