Tournament of Roses Parade

The Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, is one of the most widely recognized parades. The floats in the parade are specific to a theme and must be covered in flowers and plant material. Enjoy reserved, prime seating as you take in the breathtaking floral floats, dazzling equestrian displays, and high-energy marching bands during the world-famous Tournament of Roses Parade. A souvenir program and blanket are included.

 

Huntington Beach

Known as "Surf City USA" — stroll the iconic pier, browse local shops, or take a leisurely walk on the beach and put your feet in the Pacific.

 

Newport Harbor Cruise

Enjoy an afternoon on the Newport Harbor for a scenic cruise with lunch.

 

Hollywood Studio Tour

Experience Hollywood like never before! Take a guided tour of a working Hollywood Studio. You'll see where the movie magic is made and learn about the rich history of the film industry.

New Year's Eve Gala Celebration

Celebrate NYE filled with elegant dining, dancing, and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats, tiaras, party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes and a champagne toast to ring in the new year!

 

Rose Parade Float Decorating Tour

You will get to see the finishing touches being put on the beautiful parade floats covered in flowers and plant material.

 

Backyard Style BBQ

After the parade, you’ll return to the hotel for a special Backyard Style BBQ. You will have some free time to relax before joining us in the ballroom in the late afternoon for an exclusive performance.

 

Post-Parade Showcase of Floats

See all the Parade Floats on display. Travel back to Pasadena to see the floats on display at the spectacular "Showcase of Floats" event.

 

Need to Know:

• Some locations and sightseeing activities require extensive standing, sitting or walking, and sometimes up/down hills. This trip is not recommended for those with walking difficulties, those with mobility challenges, or those who use a wheelchair. Sports Travel Tours/Starr is not responsible for any missed activities due to a participant's inability to participate with the group.

• Includes deluxe round-trip motorcoach transportation from one or more of our departure locations to the airport.

• Services of a Tour Director will begin upon arrival in Southern California.

• Price includes round-trip airfare between Newark or Philadelphia Airport and Southern California Airport.

• Transfers between airport, hotel and events are included.

• Baggage handling at hotels is included.

• Baggage handling at airports is not included.

Deposit/Final Payment: Deposit is $300 per person. Final payment is due 8/31/2027

Cancellation Penalties: If cancellation occurs from booking date and 8/31/2027, a $300.00* per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 9/1/2027 and 9/23/2027, a $1,250.00* per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 9/24/2027 and 12/29/2027, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

*In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.

Important Flight Information:

• Each traveler is permitted one piece of checked baggage.

• Airfare is purchased as a group. While we are happy to pass along any seating requests made at the time of booking, seat assignments are controlled by the airline and cannot be guaranteed. Your final seat assignments will be included with your trip documents, which are sent approximately two weeks prior to departure.

 

Travel Insurance:

Travel Insurance provides protection for your travel investment and it should always be considered. We recommend The National Tour Association's (NTA) Travel Protection Plan administered by Aon Affinity. You can purchase the enhanced plan within 14 days of deposit to cover preexisting conditions or 'cancel for any reason' coverage.

Gratuities:

Gratuities to individuals noted below are not included in the price of your tour package. Customary recognized guidelines are as follows:

• Motorcoach Driver: $4-$6 per tour guest, per day

• Tour Director: $4-$6 per tour guest, per day

Starr has a select quantity of wheelchair accessible motorcoaches available; therefore, we suggest you contact a Travel Advisor to discuss any needs you may have before reserving your trip.
