Salt Lake City is the capital and most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Utah, as well as the seat of Salt Lake County, the most populous county in Utah. It is the world headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The city was founded in 1847 by followers of the church, led by Brigham Young, who were seeking to escape persecution they had experienced while living farther east.

 

Full day narrated tour of Yellowstone National Park

Established in 1872 and located primarily in Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park was America's first national park. To this day, Yellowstone remains one of the country's most popular national parks with millions of annual visitors. Yellowstone spans almost 3,500 miles, and extends into parts of Montana and Idaho, making it one of the largest national parks in the US.

 

Yellowstone National Park sits on top of a dormant volcano and is home to more geysers and hot springs than any other place on earth. Wonders abound at this truly unique national park, from sites like the Yellowstone Grand Canyon to wildlife like America's largest buffalo herd, grizzly bears, and wolves. Approximately 50 percent of the world's hydrothermal features are at Yellowstone National Park, creating an effect that makes the ground appear to be on fire.

 

Old Faithful Geyser

Old Faithful is a cone geyser located in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It was named in 1870 during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition and was the first geyser in the park to receive a name. It is a highly predictable geothermal feature, and has erupted every 44 minutes to two hours since 2000.

 

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is an American national park in northwestern Wyoming. At approximately 310,000 acres, the park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. Grand Teton National Park is only 10 miles south of Yellowstone National Park, to which it is connected by the National Park Service-managed John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. It is an almost pristine ecosystem and the same species of flora and fauna that have existed since prehistoric times can still be found there. More than 1,000 species of vascular plants, dozens of species of mammals, 300 species of birds, more than a dozen fish species and a few species of reptiles and amphibians inhabit the park.

 

Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a nostalgic adventure into the heart of the American West. Originally called "Jackson Hole" by the fur trappers and frontiersmen who traversed the steep pass in the early 1800s, the majestic beauty of the valley has since drawn cowboys, dude ranchers, mountaineers, skiers and even John D. Rockefeller whose large swathes of ranchland later became Grand Teton National Park.

 

Jackson Hole is flanked by the sweeping Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges, jagged peaks that offer powdery skiing in the winter and beautiful hiking in the summer. You can see dazzling wildlife along the Snake River, which meanders from its headwaters in nearby Yellowstone National Park through fields of grazing bison and elk.

Inspiration Point

Starting with the Upper Falls of Yellowstone Falls, The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River runs northeast for over 20 miles, carving a 1,000-foot deep gash in the pine-covered landscape. The north and south rims are separated by a mere 3/4 of a mile, with treacherously steep canyon walls painted in oranges, yellows and reds.

 

Temple Square

Temple Square remains the center of Salt Lake City and the most historic location in the state of Utah. Construction of the Salt Lake Temple began in 1853, but the building was not completed until 1893. The lengthy construction time was due to limited transportation for materials and a desire to make the temple perfectly beautiful and strong.

 

Norris Geyser Basin

Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest, oldest, and most dynamic of Yellowstone's thermal areas. The highest temperature yet recorded in any geothermal area in Yellowstone was measured in a scientific drill hole at Norris.

 

Norris shows evidence of having had thermal features for at least 115,000 years. The features in the basin change daily, with frequent disturbances from seismic activity and water fluctuations. The vast majority of the waters at Norris are acidic, including acid geysers which are very rare.

• Final payment is due by 04/12/2025.

 

Cancellation Penalties:

If cancellation occurs from booking date to 4/12/25, a $300.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

If cancellation occurs between 4/13/25 and 5/22/25, a $1,250.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

If cancellation occurs between 5/23/25 and 6/21/25, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

 

*In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.
