Block Island Ferry

Travel from Point Judith, RI (Galilee, Narragansett) to Block Island aboard the ferry. The journey takes approximately one hour. Enjoy onboard concession stands available on all vessels for your convenience.

Need to Know:

 

Starr's Motorcoach does not come over on on the Ferry. Tour guests are advised to bring all necessary belongings with them, as they will not have access to the coach while on Block Island.

 

National Hotel - Please note that not all requests for rooms with two beds can be accommodated. A room with a queen bed and a cot may be provided as an alternative.

 

 

Accessibility:

National Hotel - Guests should be aware that there are 15 steps leading up to the hotel lobby. Tour guests can access the lobby without using steps by walking around to the back of the hotel.

 

If needed, it is crucial to request a first-floor room at the time of booking, as there are at least 15 steps to the first floor. Guests with walking disabilities may find this challenging and the hotel does not have an elevator.

 

Starr has a select quantity of wheelchair accessible motorcoaches available; therefore, we suggest you contact a Travel Advisor to discuss any needs you may have before reserving your trip.

National Hotel, Block Island, Rhode Island

 

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the National Hotel offers a blend of modern conveniences and nostalgic grace. This three-story Victorian inn, located in Block Island's historic village across from a sandy beach, has been carefully renovated to preserve its charm.

 

The room configurations vary, reflecting the hotel's historic nature, and each room is uniquely decorated to create a relaxing and elegant Victorian ambiance. Amenities include television, hair dryer, and private bath. The hotel's full-service restaurant, the Tap and Grille, provides delightful dining options.

 

Please note, there is no elevator and 15 steps to the first floor. The hotel is completely non-smoking.
