Explore a rare surviving example of late nineteenth-century architecture and design. Designed by renowned Boston architect W. Ralph Emerson and bult in 1878, the Eustis Estate sits on eighty acres of picturesque landscape at the base of the Blue Hills. Full of stunning, intact architectural and design details, the Eustis Estate is a historic site unlike any other in the Greater Boston area. While visiting the property learn about the elaborate architecture and interior design as well as the Eustis family, their domestic staff, and the farmhands who cultivated the surrounding fields and greenhouses.

 

Christmas Tea Lunch at Eustis Estate

Celebrate the season with a Victorian afternoon tea at the Eustis Estate. Relax in the beautifully decorated hall and enjoy tea sandwiches, scones, and other treats.

 

Vaillancourt Folk Art

At Vaillancourt Folk Art, collectible chalkware Santas and holiday figurines are lovingly handcrafted and hand painted. Rooted in a passion for history, antiques, and Christmas, each piece is a true work of art. Enjoy a short film and welcome presentation by a Vaillancourt team member, who will share fascinating insights into the chalkware-making process. Visit the museum gift shop and see original molds, beautifully finished pieces, and peek into the “pouring room,” where you may witness talented artists at work. Each guest will receive a piece of chalkware to take home.

 

Encore Boston Harbor Casino
