Edinburg City Tour

Enjoy an Edinburgh City Tour and see the Palace of Holyrood House, Princess Street and the Royal Mile. You will also visit the famous Edinburgh Castle.

 

London City Tour

Enjoy a London City Tour to see famous landmarks such as Kensington Palace, the Tower of London, Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben beside the River Thames. Also see Westminster Abbey and the Changing of the Guard* at Buckingham Palace.

 

Buckingham Palace Changing of the Guard*

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a free 45-minute ceremony, where the King's Guard is replaced. It involves a military parade from Wellington Barracks to the Palace, featuring music and, often, large crowds. *The Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace is not held every day. If it is not available, a stop will be made at the Palace.

 

Edinburgh Castle

Home of the Scottish Crown Jewels. Edinburgh’s Castle rock has been a stronghold for over 3000 years. In its dominating position overlooking the capital city, the grandeur and historical significance of the Edinburgh Castle has made it a globally famous icon of Scotland, and is also part of the Old & New Towns of Edinburgh.

 

Cardiff City Tour with Cardiff Castle

Enjoy a Cardiff City Tour to see the National Museum and Gallery, Millennium Stadium & Cardiff Bay. Visit Cardiff Castle, whose construction is the combination of Roman fort, classic Norman fortress “Motte and Bailey“ and Gothic-Victorian restoration

The family home of Anne Hathaway, William Shakespeare’s wife-to-be. It is here that Anne was born and raised and where the young Shakespeare would have visited her during the early part of their relationship. Built more than 500 years ago and extended over the years, much of the original survives. See original furniture including the Hathaway bed and uncover five centuries of stories of the family who lived here for 13 generations. Wander through acres of beautiful cottage gardens and orchards, and explore the sculpture trail inspired by Shakespeare’s plays.

Roman Baths Museum

Travel to Bath to visit the Roman Baths Museum to see the elaborate spas fed by the only naturally occurring hot springs in the United Kingdom.

 

 

Need to Know:

  • This tour is active, requiring participants to be in good physical shape and good health to fully enjoy the experiences. This trip is not appropriate for those requiring a walker, wheelchair, scooter, or need walking assistance. Sightseeing locations and activities may require longer periods of walking, standing or sitting. Some locations may involve climbing stairs, have uneven or unpaved ground, have cobblestone streets, or located at higher altitudes. You may need to manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available. Premier World Discovery/Starr is not responsible for any missed activities due to a participant's inability to participate with the group.

  • Adapters and Converters in Europe: Please remember to bring a European adapter for your electronic devices. In Europe, the standard voltage is 230 V, and the frequency is 50 Hz, with power plugs and sockets of type C, E, and F. Since the plug shape used in Europe is different from most other regions, your standard plugs won’t fit directly into European wall sockets, so you’ll need a special adapter to bridge the gap.

  • Includes deluxe round-trip motorcoach transportation from one or more of our departure locations to the airport.

  • Services of a Tour Director will begin upon arrival in Rome.

  • Deposit is $625.00 per person

  • Final payment is due by 1/22/2027

Cancellation Penalties:

  • If cancellation occurs from booking date to 11/13/2026, a $25.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

  • If cancellation occurs between 11/14/2026 and 1/22/2027, a $625.00 per person penalty will be assessed.

  • If cancellation occurs between 1/23/2027 and 2/9/2027, a $2,300.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

  • If cancellation occurs between 2/10/2027 and 5/12/2027, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

*In addition to the cancellation policies listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.

  • Airfare is purchased as a group. While we are happy to pass along any seating requests made at the time of booking, seat assignments are controlled by the airline and cannot be guaranteed. Gratuities:

Gratuities to individuals noted below are not included in the price of your tour package. Customary recognized guidelines are as follows:

  • Motorcoach Driver: $4-$6 per tour guest, per day

  • Tour Director: $4-$6 per tour guest, per day

 

Accessibility:

  • The Americans with Disabilities Act is only applicable within the United States and facilities for disabled individuals are limited outside its borders. Most transportation services, including the touring motorcoaches and cruise ships, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. Motorized scooters are not suitable on international tours.

  • Starr has a select quantity of wheelchair accessible motorcoaches available; therefore, we suggest you contact a Travel Advisor to discuss any needs you may have before reserving your trip.

Day 1

Board your overnight flight to Europe. Few places have as much to offer the visitor as England, Scotland & Wales. History, natural beauty, art, architecture and hospitality all await you in the United Kingdom.

Day 2

Arrive in Edinburgh, meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 3

Today enjoy an Edinburgh City Tour and see the Palace of Holyrood House, Princess Street and the Royal Mile. You will also visit the famous Edinburgh Castle, home of the Scottish Crown Jewels. Day 4

Today head south to York, founded in AD 71 & rich in Roman, Saxon & Viking history. Upon arrival meet a local guide for a York Tour. Enjoy a stroll through the medieval city and the famous Shambles, a quaint, narrow street that appears today almost as it did during the Middle Ages. Visit the magnificent 13th century York Minster, one of the finest medieval cathedrals in all of Europe. Later check into your hotel for the one-night stay. Enjoy an included dinner this evening.

Day 5

Continue south today through Yorkshire and arrive in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s Birthplace, possibly the most famous and most visited literary landmark in Britain. Later arrive in historic port city of Bristol for a two-night stay. Bristol sits at the mouth of the Avon River & the city center docks have been regenerated as a center of heritage and culture.

Day 6

Today travel to Cardiff, capital city of Wales, separated from England by the Cambrian Mountains. Enjoy a Cardiff City Tour to see the National Museum and Gallery, Millennium Stadium & Cardiff Bay. Visit Cardiff Castle, whose construction is the combination of Roman fort, classic Norman fortress “Motte and Bailey“ and Gothic-Victorian restoration.

Day 7

Travel to nearby Bath to visit the Roman Baths Museum to see the elaborate spas fed by the only naturally occurring hot springs in the United Kingdom. Continue to Stonehenge, the best known and most studied megalithic structure in the world, yet its original purpose remains unclear. Later arrive in one of the world’s finest cities, London, capital of the United Kingdom for a two-night stay.

Day 8

After breakfast enjoy a London City Tour to see famous landmarks such as Kensington Palace, the Tower of London, Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben beside the River Thames. Also see Westminster Abbey and the Changing of the Guard* at Buckingham Palace. The afternoon is at leisure to explore London on your own. Maybe shop at famous Harrods, visit a museum or a local pub. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers at a local restaurant.

Day 9

This morning transfer to the airport filled with wonderful memories of your England, Scotland & Wales Tour.
