Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Travel the scenic mountain road along the famous “Loop” through the towering Chimney Tops. At the summit, we’ll stop at Newfound Gap, which marks the Tennessee-North Carolina state line at 5,048 feet—the lowest drivable pass through Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy photo opportunities at scenic stops, including the Rockefeller Memorial, which commemorates the $5 million donation that helped establish the park. The Appalachian Trail also crosses here, straddling the state line for much of its length through the park.

Titanic Museum

Step back in time at the Titanic Museum-Pigeon Forge, where visitors can experience the ship’s hallways, parlors, cabins, and grand staircase, surrounded by over 400 authentic artifacts from the Titanic and its passengers. Interact with the experience by touching a real iceberg, walking the grand staircase, and testing sloping decks and 28-degree water. Each guest receives a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew member, bringing history to life. With artifacts valued at over $4.5 million, many displayed for the first time, the museum offers a unique, immersive journey into the past.

 

The Island

Explore The Island in Pigeon Forge, a vibrant hub of retail and entertainment nestled in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Discover a variety of dining options, shopping outlets, thrilling attractions, and don't miss the iconic Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, a 200-foot-high observation wheel offering breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Each gondola is enclosed and seats up to eight people (admission is not included).

Dinner on day two is included at Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner & Christmas Show

Dinner is served as a four course plated meal and includes rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked BBQ pork loin, creamy vegetable soup, homemade biscuits, buttered corn on the cob, herb-basted potatoes, and a specialty dessert. Unlimited soda, tea, or coffee is included. No alcohol is served. A vegetarian meal is available on request.

 

Dinner on day four is included at Applewood Farmhouse Grill. Choices are (guests will order when seated):

• Southern Fried Chicken

• Sugar Cured Ham

• Homemade Meatloaf

• Apple Julep Grilled Chicken

• Chicken & Dumplings

• Pecan Chicken Salad on a croissant

Sides include: Applewood julep, apple fitters, mashed potatoes, green beans, and buttermilk biscuits. Coffee, tea, or soft drinks are included with an apple cobbler for dessert.

• Overall, this tour involves minimal walking with the exception of Dollywood (see Accessibility section for further info).

• Every Starr trip includes deluxe round-trip motorcoach transportation from one or more of our departure locations.

Accessibility:

• Dollywood: this is a large, expansive amusement park that does require substantial walking. Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) are available at the Rental Service Annex (between the Tram/Trolley Drop-Off and the Security Screening Area) and inside the main entrance (between the Timesaver Reservation Center and the Group Entrance). Quantities are limited; to reserve an ECV click here, otherwise there is a limited amount of ECV and wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are areas of the Park where wheelchairs and ECVs are not recommended; these locations are indicated on the Dollywood Park Map and signage.

• Starr has a select quantity of wheelchair accessible motorcoaches available; therefore, we suggest you contact a Travel Advisor to discuss any needs you may have before reserving your trip.
