Covered Wagon Tour of the PA Grand Canyon

See the canyon in comfort from handcrafted horse-drawn covered wagons, pulled by powerful, beautiful, matched draught horses and equipped with padded bench seats and open sides for viewing. Our guide will tell us stories of the past while we travel the old railroad bed through Pine Creek Gorge. The experience is approximately 2 hours. Guests should wear appropriate shoes and clothing. The motion of the wagon is similar to a ride in a car on a bumpy road.

Leonard Harrison State Park

On the east rim of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, the 585-acre Leonard Harrison State Park has modern facilities, a visitor center and the most famous scenic views of the canyon. On the other side of the canyon is Colton Point State Park. Leonard Harrison State Park honors Leonard Harrison (1850-1929) of Wellsboro. Mr. Harrison was a civic-minded businessman and banker who contributed his time, energy, and finances to the betterment of his home community. Leonard Harrison State Park originally consisted of 121 acres and was called "The Lookout."

Millionaires Row Guided Tour

Situated along 8 blocks, in the City of Williamsport is the "Millionaires' Row National Historic District." This guided riding tour recounts the wealth and power of Williamsport during the 1800s. The on-the-bus view of the magnificent mansions and historic churches will delight each and every guest.

Rowley House Museum

The Rowley house was designed and built by Eber Culver in 1888, considered one of the finest examples of Queen Anne architecture in Pennsylvania. It was one of the first houses on the street to have electric lights, bells and a dumbwaiter. The home contains elaborately carved woodwork and remains in much the same state as it did originally, having only had three owners.

Thomas T. Taber Museum

The Taber Museum chronicles the history of north central Pennsylvania, from American Indian occupation through 21st century industry and life. Exhibits include an American Indian gallery, a Fine and Decorative Arts gallery, the Shempp Model Train exhibit with over 300 toy trains, period rooms depicting life from the 1700s through the 1900s, and much more. Check out the highlights. Exhibits change often, keeping the Museum fresh and interesting for every visit. The Museum also includes a local history and genealogy research library.
