Philadelphia Eagles Season Opener in Brazil

The NFL announced that the Philadelphia Eagles will play as the designated team in the first regular season game in Brazil, as part of the 2024 International Games. The game will be played on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. The game will take place in Sao Paulo at the Corinthians Arena. The Eagles will play the Green Bay Packers, kickoff time will be announced closer to the 2024 NFL schedule revealed.

 

"This landmark first international game in South America demonstrates the ongoing expansion of our global footprint," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "Playing on Friday night of Week 1 is a unique way to highlight our international growth and ambitions." Five regular season games will be played as part of the 2024 NFL International Games, including the game in Sao Paulo.

After breakfast, we head out to the airport for our short 1-hour flight from Sao Paulo to Rio.

It is one of the most visited cities in the Southern Hemisphere and is known for its natural settings, carnival, samba, bossa nova, and balneario beaches: such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. In addition to the beaches, landmarks include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Sugarloaf Mountain with its cable cars.

 

Rio de Janeiro full day sightseeing tour

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Rio de Janeiro, one of the World's most iconic cities. We'll go to Sugar Loaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer statue that towers over the city as well as the Maracana, Brazil's most famous football stadium, and that's just the start!

 

Free time on own in Rio de Janeiro

Our last full day is free to enjoy more beach time or some more sightseeing. The choice is yours!

 

Farewell beach party

Late afternoon we'll get together for our final night beach party which is sure to be plenty of fun as we really take in the Brazilian lifestyle.

Deposit/Final Payment Policy:

• Non-refundable deposit is $550 per person.

• Final payment is due by 6/5/2024.

 

Cancellation Penalties:

If cancellation occurs from booking date to 5/5/24, a $550.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

If cancellation occurs between 5/6/24 and 6/5/24, a $3,050.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

If cancellation occurs between 6/6/24 and 9/3/24, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

Some locations and sightseeing activities require extensive standing, sitting or walking, sometimes on unpaved or cobblestone streets and up/down hills. There is a long walk to the stadium.
