Lisbon

Lisbon is a sun-drenched, vibrant capital blending ancient charm with modern energy, built across seven steep hills overlooking the Tagus River. Known for its iconic yellow trams, soulful Fado music, and stunning tile-clad facades, this walkable city offers an unbeatable mix of historic castles, panoramic viewpoints, and a thriving, affordable culinary scene.

 

Fado Show

Featuring traditional melancholy music with instruments like guitars and mandolins accompanied by singing poetic lyrics. The word Fado translates to Fate & the music roots trace to the early 1800’s.

 

Lisbon City Tour

Enjoy a Lisbon City Tour featuring the Moorish Alfama Quarter, Jeronimo’s Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Monument to the Discoveries. Visit the Belem Tower, another UNESCO World Heritage site.

 

Belem Tower

The UNESCO-listed Belém Tower (Torre de Belém) is a 16th-century Manueline-style fortress on Lisbon's Tagus River. Originally built as a lighthouse and ceremonial gateway to guard the city, this iconic limestone "jewel" showcases intricate stonework, representing Portugal's, Age of Discovery.

 

Evora

A UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a Roman Temple and a well-preserved old town center still partially enclosed by medieval wall. Enjoy the scenery as you journey south and cross into Spain.

 

Seville

Seville is the passionate heart of Andalusian culture, where orange-scented streets, stunning Moorish architecture, and vibrant flamenco create an enchanting atmosphere. Explore the stunning Real Alcázar, the massive Seville Cathedral, and the iconic Plaza de España, then experience authentic culture in the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood.

 

Seville City Tour

Visit the Plaza de España in Maria Luisa Park. Then stroll through the fashionable Santa Cruz Quarter with its attractive wrought-iron balconies laden with flowers. See the well- preserved Alcazar, a Moorish fantasy in stone, set in richly scented gardens. Visit the massive Seville Cathedral, burial place of Christopher Columbus and enriched with the spoils of the New World. Perhaps you may wish to walk the ramps of the Giralda Tower, the former minaret of the Great Mosque to enjoy panoramic views over the city.

 

Cathedral of Seville

The official name of the cathedral of Seville is "Catedral de Santa María de la Sede" and it is the largest church in the world, after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and St. Paul's Cathedral in London. The Cathedral of the archbishopric of Seville was built on the site where once a Moorish mosque, built by the Almohads, stood. This mosque was taken from the Moors in 1248 and was then used as a cathedral. In the 13th century, the mosque was destroyed, except for the Patio de los Naranjos, and the Giralda tower. Construction of the cathedral began in 1403. The cathedral was finally completed in 1507. Seville Cathedral was built in a five-aisled cruciform church with chapels.

 

Granada Tour

Alhambra Palace

See one of Spain’s finest examples of Moorish architecture. Originating from the Arabic al-qala’a al-hamra, meaning “red castle,” the Alhambra is a red-hued complex rising from the dark green pines of the surrounding hills. See its beauty unfold through the Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba, and Generalife Gardens, showcasing a mesmerizing blend of history, art, and astounding views — Granada on one side, the Sierra Nevada mountains on the other. From lion statues guarding fountains to muqarnas arches and pillars engraved into the ceilings like honeycombs, the Alhambra Palace is a must-see landmark in Granada, Spain.

 

Toledo

Travel north to visit Toledo, the capital of Spain until 1560, and one of the most important centers of European medieval history. Toledo was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage and historical coexistence of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures. Visit the Toledo Cathedral, one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain.

 

Madrid

Madrid is a vibrant, 24-hour capital blending grand, imperial history with modern, energetic living. Known for its world-class museums (the "Golden Triangle of Art"), sun-soaked terraces, diverse, welcoming neighborhoods, it is a culinary hotspot that never sleeps. Explore bustling plazas, Royal luxury, and lively tapas bars in this unforgettable, central Spanish city.

 

Madrid City Tour

Including the Puerta del sol, Plaza Espana, the Parliament, Cibeles Fountain, elegant Calle Alcala, Paseo de Castellana. Later visit the Royal Palace, home to the Kings of Spain from Charles III to Alfonso XIII. The Royal Palace takes you on a journey through the history of Spain, and though it is no longer the royal family’s home, it continues to be their official residence.

 

Madrid Royal Palace

The Royal Palace of Madrid is Western Europe's largest, featuring over 3,400 opulent rooms and breathtaking art. As the official residence for state ceremonies, it offers a glimpse into Spanish royal history, showcasing a stunning Throne Hall, Royal Armory, and baroque architecture. It is a must-visit.

• This tour is active, requiring participants to be in good physical shape and good health to fully enjoy the experiences. This trip is not appropriate for those requiring a walker, wheelchair, scooter, or need walking assistance. Sightseeing locations and activities may require longer periods of walking, standing or sitting. Some locations may involve climbing stairs, have uneven or unpaved ground, have cobblestone streets, or located at higher altitudes. You may need to manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available. Premier World Discovery/Starr is not responsible for any missed activities due to a participant's inability to participate with the group.

• Adapters and Converters in Europe: Please remember to bring a European adapter for your electronic devices. In Europe, the standard voltage is 230 V, and the frequency is 50 Hz, with power plugs and sockets of type C, E, and F. Since the plug shape used in Europe is different from most other regions, your standard plugs won’t fit directly into European wall sockets, so you’ll need a special adapter to bridge the gap.

• Services of a Tour Director will begin upon arrival in Rome.

Payment & Cancellation Policies for November 4, 2027

Deposit/Payment Policy: Deposit is $625.00 per person. Final payment is due by 7/16/2027

Cancellation Penalties: If cancellation occurs from booking date to 5/7/2027, a $25.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 5/8/2027 and 7/16/2027, a $625.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 7/17/2027 and 8/4/2027, a $2,000.00* per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 8/5/2027 and 11/4/2027, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

*In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.
