Before the World Turned Upside Down...

Step back to Hawkins, 1959—a seemingly ordinary town with its share of everyday troubles. Young Jim Hopper struggles with a car that won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister dismisses his radio show, and Joyce Maldonado dreams of graduating and leaving town for good. But when new student Henry Creel and his family arrive, they discover that starting over isn’t as simple as it seems. Shadows from the past linger—and their reach is longer and darker than anyone could imagine.
