After enjoying dinner at your leisure, gather along the banks of the Charles River to witness the dazzling 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza! Conclude your day with a breathtaking display of color and light illuminating the night sky.

Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs (such as portable or lawn chairs) or blankets for fireworks viewing in front of the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

 

John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum

Nestled on a 10-acre park overlooking Boston Harbor, the JFK Library & Museum is the official memorial to John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the U.S. This unique space allows visitors to step back into the early 1960s and experience first-hand the life and legacy of JFK. Visitors are inspired by the stirring eloquence of JFK and the grace of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy through 25 engaging exhibits, including three theaters and 20 video presentations. Explore rare film and TV footage, historic presidential documents, personal family keepsakes, and treasures from the White House, along with gifts from around the world. Spirit of Boston Lunch Cruise - USS Constitution Annual Turn-Around

Embark on a delightful journey aboard the Spirit of Boston for the "USS Constitution Turn-Around Cruise." Enjoy a bountiful buffet while enjoying lively DJ entertainment as you sail through the Boston Harbor. This exclusive 2-hour cruise allows you to follow the legendary USS Constitution as she departs from her dock at the Charlestown Navy Yard for her annual cruise. Witness this historic ship as she is skillfully turned around to ensure she weathers evenly on both sides—one facing the harbor and the other towards the dock.

As part of the experience, the crew of Old Ironsides will fire cannons in a spectacular 21-gun salute and conduct thrilling gun drills throughout the day,

Charlestown Navy Yard

Explore the Charlestown Navy Yard, managed by the National Parks Service, where you can see the historic USS Constitution, known as Old Ironsides, and the USS Cassin Young. Launched on October 21, 1797, the USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned warship afloat and is currently manned by an active-duty U.S. Navy crew. At the Constitution Visitor's Center, you'll find memorabilia and gifts, while the Constitution Museum—a private, non-profit establishment—features a theater, over 3,000 historical artifacts, and interactive exhibits. Self-guided tours of the USS Cassin Young, a World War II Navy destroyer, are also available.

 

Please note that all visitors aged 18 and older must present a valid federal or state-issued photo ID or passport to board the USS Constitution and will go through airport-style security upon entry.

Navy Yard: All individuals aged 18 and older must present a valid federal or state-issued photo ID or passport for entry. Also, the ships at the Navy Yard are not air-conditioned.

 

USS Constitution: All guests 18 and older must provide a valid federal or state-issued photo ID or passport to board the USS Constitution. Please note that all passengers will go through airport-style security upon entry.

 

Fireworks Viewing: Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs (such as portable or lawn chairs) or blankets for fireworks viewing in front of the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

Please be aware that no chairs or blankets will be provided.

 

Quincy Market: This venue features both indoor and outdoor spaces, with air conditioning available indoors.
