Step inside the beautifully restored Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station, a landmark that witnessed President Lincoln’s arrival for the Gettysburg Address and served as a hub for wartime recovery and generations of travelers. With its distinctive cupola, arched windows, and ornate Italianate architecture, this National Register of Historic Places site stands as one of Gettysburg’s most iconic and historically significant buildings.

 

Patriot Rail Train Excursion

Depart from the historic 1884 Gettysburg train depot and travel aboard restored 1950s-era Budd-built passenger cars. As the train rolls through scenic countryside, you’ll hear stories about the leaders and events that shaped the Battle of Gettysburg while passing notable sites along the way.

Lunch will be served buffet-style and features a soup and salad bar, turkey and ham cold cuts with Swiss and provolone cheeses, penne pasta in tomato sauce, BBQ chicken, and chips. Dessert includes fudge brownies, chocolate cake, and gingerbread with lemon sauce, along with coffee, tea, lemonade, and iced tea.
